When parents or guardians actively engage with their children in their schoolwork, it can positively impact their academic success. Involvement in homework, providing support, and creating a conducive learning environment at home are crucial elements in a child’s educational journey.
Another factor influencing Art’s academic performance could be his social background. Social-behavioral skills, such as following instructions, managing emotions, problem-solving, and task completion, are essential for children to thrive in a school setting (Bettencourt & Breitenstein, 2019). Suppose Arty has not had the opportunity to develop these skills due to limited social interactions or a challenging social environment.
