Preface
This paper is about social position, and there will be two corridors. The first part is going to explain what social position is and the three different types of position systems, social mobility, and the organizing principle. The alternate part of this paper is going to describe which race in America has the most socioeconomic status Hispanic, Black, White, and Asian. For illustration, who has the most socioeconomic status power when it comes to income, net worth, homeownership, and education?
Part One
The purpose of this section is to define the social position and describe the different position systems. Social position is the way society is distributed and ranks people grounded on their race, wealth, net worth, homeownership, and education (n.d., 2021). The three different position systems I’ll be explaining are the class system, slavery system, and estate system. Social position is how society is distributed into different groups of people grounded on their socioeconomic status, similar to income, net worth, homeownership, and education (Northern Kentucky University, 2018).

There are three different position systems that correspond to slavery, the estate system and the class system that will be explained. In the positioning system, slavery is a system where one person owns another person and uses them as a slave for labor to profit from their own gain (Hoiland, 2020). The estate system is where people are bound to the land from one gentleman to another. Their social status comes from their landholdings and their wealth (Author removed at the request of the original publisher), 2016). The last position system is the class system. The class system is where different people are placed in a society grounded on their occupation, education, income, and net worth (Hoiland, 2020).
Social mobility is described as the openings for change between different groups in society (Aldridge, 2001). The social mobility for slavery is an unrestricted position system where the smallest class has no governance over their own social status (Hoiland, 2020). The estate system is distinguished by a structure of social power where a peasant must work on a section of land that the noble class owns (Hoiland, 2020). Incipiently, the social mobility of class for the social position is the capability to change the position they’re in. They can do this because of the way people can ameliorate or drop their socioeconomic status (Hoiland, 2020).
The organizing principle of the position systems is how individualities are sorted by their systems within society. In the slavery system, the smallest of the totem pole is the people who are possessed and work as slaves. Next is the middle class, who can’t go slave but can go a normal life. Incipiently for slavery, there is the gentleman who is the loftiest league that enjoys the slaves and has them work on their land. For the estate system, you’re either the proprietor of the land or the peasant that works on the land. Eventually, in the class system, there’s the lower class that’s the least fat. Second is the middle class, who isn’t fat but not poor; they can go a substantial life.

Incipiently, it is the upper class that’s considered the top and most elite. Overall, social position is how societies classify people grounded on their net worth, income, education, and homeownership. The three different social estates are slavery, the estate system, and the class system. The slavery and the estate system is an unrestricted system because they are grounded on a status that starts when they’re born. Meanwhile, the class system is open because people can gain or dwindle their socioeconomic status and it isn’t grounded on solely their parents or what they were born into.
Part Two
Every race in America can have benefits to them when it comes to their socioeconomic status. In America, the race that has the most socioeconomic status is Asians. Socioeconomic status is the class or group you’re put in by society. Socioeconomic status has three orders, low, middle, and high. Which class you’re in can be measured in numerous ways, similar to income.net worth, homeownership, and education. Asians and Whites have the most socioeconomic status because they have the maturity of advanced statistics when it comes to income, net worth, homeownership, and education.

In 2020, Asians had the loftiest income averaging at about $94,903. The closest income to them was White at $74,912. The coming loftiest income was Hispanic at $55,321, incipiently followed by Black at the average income of $45,870 (Published by Statista Research Department & 28, 2021). When it comes to the network between White, Black, Hispanics, and Asian, White has the loftiest net worth at a normal of $162,770. Following White is Asians at$ 87,000, also Hispanic at $21,360, and incipiently, Black with an average net worth of$ 16,300n.d.( 2021). In 2021, Asians also have the loftiest form of education.
This includes any education starting with a high academy degree to the most advanced degree. About 89.1 Asians graduate with a high academic degree, and up to 21.4 graduate with a master’s degree or better. Following Asians again is White at a normal of 88.8 for a high academic degree and 12.1 for a master’s degree or better. Next is Black, with 87 having a high academic degree and 8.2 for an advanced degree. Incipiently, is Hispanic that 66.7 has a high academic degree and 4.7 with a master’s degree or advanced (Ryan). Eventually, when we look at homeownership in America, Whites have the loftiest quantum of homeownership at 73.3, followed by Asians at 57.7.

Next is Hispanics with 47.5, and incipiently Black is 42.1 (USAFacts, 2020). Overall, Asians and White have the loftiest statistics, but as a whole, White people because they have the biggest influence in America. Thus, every race in America has its own benefit. Still, White people have the utmost socioeconomic status in America. They have the most socioeconomic power because they have the loftiest chance when it comes to homeownership and net worth and has the most influence in America.
