According to research, family stress makes people more prone to illness. Even after accounting for other health hazards, people who have lost a spouse, particularly men, have significantly higher death rates. Similarly, the importance of communication in patient care cannot be overstated. However, it is an extremely emotional period for many of your patients’ families, especially when an illness strikes unexpectedly or when a patient is nearing the end of their life. They can have a lot of questions, worries, or facts to share with you. Family members play a critical role in advocating for their loved ones. Nurses must tread a tight line between being sensitive to families’ concerns while also establishing their authority. As a result, the interaction you have with the family of your patients may not always be easy and calm. However, with a little knowledge, you can aid to improve patient care while also establishing trust and a relationship with your patients (Karam et al., 2021).

According to the American Nurses Association, the following are the reported outcomes of nursing service delivery: 1) Merely few calls to the emergency room. 2)Patients’ confidence in their ability to control their own health is boosted. 3)The whole cost is lower. 4)Survival rates have risen dramatically (Fowler, 2020). This means that nursing personnel must be knowledgeable about society’s products and services, as well as the provincial and national moral frameworks that support their employment.

 Culturally Sensitive Strategies

According to studies, cultural factors play a significant influence in limiting access to healthcare services for persons with disabilities. Gender, education, health literacy, and myths are among the challenges. According to the American Healthcare Association to become an effective nurse, following must be taken in account. The first step is to do a self-assessment of cultural competency. The second step is to earn a cultural competency certificate. Third, communication and linguistic difficulties must be addressed. Number four is to directly engage in cross-cultural exchanges with patients, and number five is to join in internet discussions and networks.

Incorporating cultural sensitivity into the healthcare industry increases efficiency in terms of addressing many different groups of individuals and giving a non-biased approach to care (Kılıç & Sevinç, 2018).

Aspect of Change Management

Change managing in health, like organizational change in any other business, might just be a time-consuming and uncertain process. Humans are inherently resistant to change, which may thwart measures to encourage health care legislation.. These are the few change models available; 1) Transformational strategic change 2) While all changes have an impact on some parts of a business, not all changes are transformational. 3) Organizational reform that is centred on people. 4) Changes in the structure 5) Corrective action. Paradigms in healthcare provide a blueprint for transformation and a foundation for addressing change difficulties. Approaches may also help with the planning process for strategy implementation in health by employing tried-and-true methodologies related to human psychology (Evans, 2020).

The health-care industry is constantly changing. Advances in technology, new regulatory compliance requirements, and the desire to consistently enhance efficiency and quality of care all contribute to changes in healthcare. Changes in health-care processes can also be influenced by global events. The coronavirus pandemic, for example, has radically altered the landscape for healthcare practitioners. For enterprises that want to stay competitive, the sudden increase in telemedicine use and the decline in elective procedures are both forces for change in healthcare (AlManei, Salonitis, & Tsinopoulos, 2018).

Rationale for Ethical Decision Making in Coordination Care

Nurses have a responsibility to neither cause harm to others or to encourage others to cause harm to others. They must also encourage their patients to take positive actions. Nonmaleficence can be demonstrated by always telling the truth to patients and never exploiting one patient for the benefit of another. Ethical decisions build and maintain trust; they reflect respect, accountability, justice, and compassion; and they are in line with good citizenship. By establishing the ground rules for our behaviors, these actions give a framework for making better decisions (Lumbers, 2018).

The study at 20 structured ethical decision-making models that are already available and built an integrated model with six processes and valuable questions and resources to aid with each step: (1) the identification of an ethical issue; (2) the gathering of further data in order to determine the. The nursing staff is in responsibility of ensuring that the community’s medical care system incentives and duties are distributed fairly. Nurses are held responsible for the treatment they provide to their patients. They should ensure that their therapy follows established rules and principles, as well as ethical considerations and patient population privileges (Thusini & Mingay, 2019).

Now I’ll discuss how healthcare policies affect the quality of care and the goals of nurses in healthcare environments. The Affordable Care Act (ACA) was passed in 2010, laying the framework for a fundamental restructuring of the public health system.. The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) makes health insurance more accessible in the United States, with an estimated 20 million previously uninsured people now covered. Understanding how the law affects coverage, access, usage, and health outcomes, particularly among low-income people, is crucial to informing current arguments regarding its effectiveness and implementation. According to early data, the rate of healthcare bills amongst some of the poor as well as those residing in Medicaid extension areas has dramatically fallen.  Furthermore, the law has been linked to enhanced health-care access, affordability, and usage of preventative and outpatient services among low-income populations, however the effects on inpatient use and health outcomes are less clear (Ortiz, 2018).

Role of Nurses in Coordination Care

The following are some of the ways that nurses coordinate care: Sharing patient-care expertise with other members of a care team. Working to ensure smooth care transitions. Developing a targeted, proactive care plan for a patient’s healthcare requirements in collaboration with many clinicians within a healthcare team. Delivering and coordinating evidence-based therapy, assessing patient outcomes, and assessing risk while enhancing overall care coordination and delivery are all part of the CNL function (Cleveland, Motter, & Smith, 2019).

A nurse is a patient’s caretaker who assists with physical requirements, illness prevention, and treatment. They must observe and monitor the patient in order to make treatment decisions, and they must record any relevant information. Further Nurses assist in the following areas: collecting medical history and symptoms, delivering drugs and treatments, coordinating with teams for patient care, running diagnostic tests, conducting physical examinations, monitoring patients’ health, and providing patient support and counselling. In health care transformation programs focusing on the coordinated delivery of services, nursing personnel has been found to have a positive impact on care coordination capacity (Walkins, 2020).
