HCS 451 Week 2 Facility Selection

A doctor’s office is the health care facility I’ve chosen to use because it serves a crucial function. For many people, doctor’s offices serve as forms of preventative health care because they offer services like wellness checks, disease screenings, and vaccinations. Doctor’s offices are made for people of all ages and backgrounds, usually for things that don’t need to be done right away.
Patients can feel at ease going to their primary care physicians by visiting doctor’s offices. Frequently, doctors construct a report with their patients and get an open line of correspondence to examine clinical worries, potential results, and answers for work on their well-being. A good primary care physician is knowledgeable in fundamental medical science, up to date on evidence-based treatment, and continuously seeking continuing education. According to Stephen C. Schimpff, MD, “The good PCP is conservative, which means that he or she will work with lifestyle, behaviors, and other measures like nutrition or exercise before recommending drugs or procedures.” 2014).

Due to its significance in the lives of many people, this facility was chosen. Patients begin developing close relationships with their doctors early on and continue to do so into adulthood. Annual visits and lab tests uncover many illnesses and diseases, preventing further illness or even death. The doctor’s office, in my opinion, has a significant impact on the lives of many people.
