Particular Reflection
To understand what my artistic identity is, I need to understand what it means to have an artistic identity. “Cultural identity, or the degree to which individualities identify them as belonging to groups of colorful artistic groups or orders, is told by their guests with others within and outside of a particular artistic order. Cultural identity is contextual and can be shaped by literal and contemporary guests with others.” (Hays & Erford, 2018). I was born in southern California and moved to Arizona several times gone. My artistic identity is veritably American in that I grew up eating hot tykes, watching baseball and golf, and shopping at Costco. Both of my parents grew up in California and are Caucasian, so they didn’t have a lot of different societies to pass on to me.
Because of that, I suppose I enjoy other societies indeed more than I would. When eating certain foods, I love hearing the history of the food, how it’s made, and how the form was passed down. Times gone, I went to Tunisia, Africa where I was suitable to meet original Tunisians and hear about the history of the country. This was a brand new experience for me as I had no way been out of the country and it really shocked me to see how different societies live and what they value. I also realized that I may have a demarcation against Middle Eastern men because of my American background. America and the Middle East have a notoriously rocky relationship which crowned at the point of the9/11 disaster. Because of this and subliminal messaging in media that shows middle easterners as villains in effects, I noticed that my body language was veritably tense and fearful around Middle Eastern men.

I fete this, and laboriously fight against it when I meet someone who’s Middle Eastern. As far as demarcation towards myself, I’m white and have been called names like “ cracker ” or “ white trash ” and I’m also a woman which opens me up to being seen as too important of a wowser or too sexual. I’ve also heard commentary pushing me toward a traditional part in my home or commentary about my small size because I’m a woman. My particular identity can be seen as strength in the behavioral health world because of my lack of culture. Due to my lack of culture, I’m extremely open to other societies, and artistic individualities. I suppose the passing down of traditions and fashion is beautiful and a way to flash back cousins who have passed away or recollections that feel like a different continuance.
I also appreciate different artistic individualities, but since I did n’t have important of boneI also do n’t have a contest or any wrathfulness towards another culture. As far as an influence in the behavioral health world, I’m veritably well- clued in other societies because I’ve traveled each around the United States, and out of the country. This allows me to understand why certain people were raised the way they were raised, and why they might feel reluctant about certain effects. As a behavioral health paraprofessional, it is my job to take the customer’s entire parenting, culture, and identity into account when I establish a treatment plan that’s as effective as possible. “When mortal beings warrant the occasion to connect with another race, they generally use other’s gests and information from the media to form the image of another race in mind. Therefore, people should know ethnical conceptions are necessary, and also people can try to replace their ethnical conceptions with the factual information about a specific race.( Chang & Kleiner, 2003).

Certain demographic groups that I don’t have a lot of experience working with are aged people, and people who struggle with same- coitus magnet. As a behavioral health paraprofessional, working with aged people could be tricky because we’re from fully different generations, were raised in fully different societies, and have different gests. This might make it delicate to establish a fellowship with them and make trust along the way. “Counselors should Engage in considerable reflection to identify how their own artistic worldviews impact their relations both outside and outdoors of comforting. Question how their perspectives are eternalized in and shape customer – counselor relations, treatment opinions, planning, and named comforting approaches. Understand multiple worldviews and how these worldviews interact throughout the treatment process —including the views of the counselor, customer, family, other guests and staff members, treatment program, association, and other agencies, as well as the community. ”( SAMHSA). I also don’t have a lot of experience working with people who engage in same- coitus magnet.
As a Christian, I understand that I’m to set my particular passions away and give them the stylish help that I can no count their sexual exposure. This could impact my part because it may be hard for me at times to put my passions behind me. As a Christian, I’m called to love how my neighbor no matter who that’s or what they do. thus, I wasn’t raised with a lot of culture or access to other societies, but I believe that makes me indeed more curious, loving, and accepting of other societies. I love to learn about where artistic individualities come from, and how someone’s artistic identity affects them. While I’ve endured demarcation towards myself, and I’ve noticed I’ve tendencies to distinguish towards certain groups, I’m open to loving all people who come to me for help. I can impact the behavioral health field, with my understanding of other societies and my amenability to try and bring societies together through understanding and common grace.

Indeed though I don’t have a lot of experience in the sexual exposure field or with the senior, I don’t know how important that will affect my career as a behavioral health paraprofessional. I still anticipate to do my stylish in those situations and help those people, just like everyone differently work through their traumas.
